Community involvement is key to the success of our schools, so we look forward to welcoming 93 Principal Partners to our schools through A Principal Experience on Tuesday, October 11. This event provides a unique opportunity to experience the rewards as well as the challenges our principals, teachers and students face on a daily basis.
Midvale has four Principal Partners this year: Bonnie Bruce, retired from the UW Foundation, John Cerniglia of Downtown Madison, Inc., Ed Reisch from the Kiwanis Club of West Madison and Kristopher Stewart from WIDA.
A Principal Experience is a proven way for leaders in education and the greater community to share ideas, resources and a sense of responsibility for public schools. By providing a first-hand perspective on the decisions and responsibilities principals face daily, Principal Partners are inspired to take a greater interest in public education. At the same time, A Principal Experience provides Madison Metropolitan School District principals and staff an opportunity to create meaningful relationships with individuals in the private sector.
