Community involvement is key to the success of our schools, so we look forward to welcoming 85 Principal Partners to our schools through A Principal Experience on Tuesday, October 13. This event provides a unique opportunity to experience the rewards as well as the challenges our principals, teachers, and students face on a daily basis.
Kevin Saville, Vice President of Program Development at Easter Seals Wisconsin, and Merideth Trahan, Director of Human Resources at WIDA at the Wisconsin Center for Education Research, are serving as the Principal Partners at Midvale this year.
A Principal Experience is a proven way for leaders in education and the greater community to share ideas, resources and a sense of responsibility for public schools. By providing a first-hand perspective on the decisions and responsibilities principals face daily, Principal Partners are inspired to take a greater interest in public education. At the same time, A Principal Experience provides Madison Metropolitan School District principals and staff with an opportunity to create meaningful relationships with individuals in the private sector.
